A few weeks later after my first testing day our final State Drift round was coming up. I was keen to give the new car a run in a comp after only driving it once before :)
So the G1 Extreme Drift ROUND 3 was here and I was ready to rumble. Left the car setup the same and couldn’t wait to have some fun :D after a rough qualifying session where my tyres delaminated I qualified in 23rd position out of the 50 car field. I then went on the battle my way through group 2.
After a long day of battling through my group I made it to the final and damn it was fun :D after the first 2 runs the judges couldn’t split us so a re-run was called :D I went on to win the final battle and came 1ST in my group. Was a great feeling...
Here is a video of my Winning lap :D (ENJOY)
And here is some more footage from throughout the day. (Includes battles etc...)
The car didn’t miss a beat all day long and I couldn’t have been happier with the result :D
I then got to do my first ever Victory burnout and DANG that was insane fun :D
Hope this video works for you :D it’s the Victory burnout :-DD
And the outside view :) (I’m the very last car) just when you thought it was all over BANG!!! Ha ha enjoy
Was a Awesome day and I hope you enjoyed to story a much as I enjoyed living it :D
That means it’s the end of all drifting for this year so I will give you updates on my plans for next year soon. At the moment I’m trying my hardest to get some backing (Sponsors) for next year.

My New and Improved Drift Car (1VIA)
After that day I had to think about where I wanted to be in the sport, Keep driving my SIL80 or do I upgrade. Don’t get me wrong the SIL80 is an insane car to drive but if I wanted to make it any better I had to spend a lot of money on it, ALOT more money.
So the smart choice for me was to sell the SIL80 and upgrade....
Welcome to my new chapter with the New and Improved Drift Car (the 1VIA)
Stay tuned for Updates on the New car :D
As you know I have sold the SIL80 now and have upgraded to the new Nissan ONEVIA.
This onevia was built by the blokes down at WheelWorX here in South Australia, I haven’t had to do anything to it at all. Just jump in and drive away :D The Onevia makes around 300rwkw and has everything you could think of in it. So it was a big setup from my SIL80
So recently I took the car out to a practice day here at Mallala Raceway to give the new car a test... Had a basic alignment setup from my SIL80 dialed in to start with...
What a hoot this car was haha...
Got a bit excited when I seen Mikey the camera guy haha…
Overall the car felt awesome, the only problem is trying to get the power to the ground :( still working on that problem haha.

First interstate trip!!
I was then asked by the Wheelworx Crew if I wanted to go over to Eastern Creek in NSW to compete, and of course I said yes :) got the car trucked over and I flew :D
Was so much fun to try a new track and it was an awesome experience :D
I ended up getting knocked out early as I had some suspension troubles but hey that’s motorsport...
After the Eastern Creek trip I was broke for awhile ha ha, so I stuck with doing the Local rounds. We had one coming up very soon and the car was already to go for once haha. So G1 Extreme Drift Comp Round 2 came around and I was keen to do well :D
After I Qualifying really well (6th) I couldn’t wait to run with the big guys. and sure enough I got the Corporal haha MR Pickering. The bloke, who’s done it all and is one of the best, was a huge eye opener and couldn’t believe how quick he was.
Yeah he passed me haha :D
I ended the day getting most improved drifter :D

Meeting Craig Helps 'best thing that could have happened'
After this I meet a top bloke Call Craig Helps, Craig was a custom fabricator/welder etc.. And I needed some work done. We got chatting and before I knew it Craig had offered to build me a Custom made Car trailer as he wanted to see if he could. I was kind of shocked at first and this is what he made, is the best trailer I have ever used and many people have said the same. Thx Craig
Now I’m all set
After the Awesome job Craig did with the trailer he done all new pipe work for the car and a few extra bits and pieces throughout the car, Can’t thank him enough for all his help :D
Another Comp came up and I was keen to enter it, as was Simon and Hayden. It was called the G1 Extreme Drift Comp held @ Mallala Raceway. This is where I have done all my practicing so I couldn’t wait to go into a competition. The comp was a hoot and I came 3rd in my group which was an awesome feeling, Simon Hayden and I also won Best Team Drift for the day which was cool.
(Hayden Front) (Myself Middle) (Simon Back)
Me smoking it hard haha
Was good fun :D, after that comp we had some cooling issues so Craig was happy to lend a hand and work like crazy to rig up a custom radiator support and a lot of other gear to make the R33 Radiator to fit :D and it worked
While Craig was doing it I got the power bug and wanted more power :) Soon I had a new HKS GT-RS turbo on its way from Streeter in Japan. Thx Jesse ;) Parts arrived in a couple days and I had all the gear on in now time. Took the car down to Jeff from the Speed Lab and had it re-tuned again. Made a healthy 250rwkw on 15psi. Made my day :D
Anyway I got talking to the guys down at All Type Crash and before I knew it I had the car in the spray booth getting a custom paint job. I wanted something different and that’s what I got :D Satin Red Turned out awesome I though.
So it was a mad rush to have it ready for the Comp that weekend held at Mallala Raceway. The mighty Drift Australia Super Drift Series :D All Type Crash had the car ready the night before so was all ready to rumble and I was stoked :)
The car was insane, the new power and grip I had was just crazy.. I was working my way to the top until I cooked it..... Yep I crashed :( ended up coming 6th for the day. Was good fun though
Disaster struck again :(
Thankfully it didn’t do much damage and All Type Crash had it fixed in no time :)
